specification describes duties
to be performed during a Move
In/Out
A
Move In/Out Cleaning is a comprehensive,
detailed cleaning of an empty
residential home performed upon
turnover of occupants.
General
cleaning tasks through out the
entire home:
Hand wash light fixtures & ceiling
fan blades
Cobwebs removed
Blinds and shutters (vacuumed
or wiped w/micro fiber)
Wipe down all woodwork including
doors, molding, trim, window sills,
baseboards and door frames
Vacuum edges of carpet with a
crevice tool 
Vacuum draperies (if they convey)
Stairs vacuumed and edged (wood
stairs wiped down)
Floors – carpeted floors vacuumed,
bare floors swept and mopped
Bathrooms
(all the above General tasks that
apply plus):
Mirrors cleaned all the way to
the top
Thoroughly scrub any build up
out of showers, tubs and surrounds
Remove hard water marks and rust
stains
Clean toilets (sanitized)
Clean inside drawers, inside medicine
cabinets, underneath vanity cabinets
Cabinet fronts polished with Liquid
Gold
Kitchens
(all of the above General tasks
that apply plus):
All cabinet fronts polished with
Liquid Gold
Countertops & backslashes (washed)
All sinks (scrubbed/disinfected)
Outside of appliances (dishwasher,
trash compactor, etc.) cleaned
Inside/outside microwave cleaned
every time
Outside and top of refrigerator
(inside and underneath extra cost)
Stove and drip pans scrubbed (interior
extra cost)
Inside cabinets, drawers (vacuumed/wiped)
- It is presumed that the
home will be empty in order to
facilitate cleaning. - We do not
climb higher than a 2 step ladder.
Higher items will only be dusted
with extension duster. - Most
homes have at least one chandelier
or vaulted ceiling fan that we
cannot reach by hand. - We cannot
guarantee the results of mini-blind
cleaning. Excessive build up may
require additional cleaning time
spent or replacement. - Please
allow for some dust resettlement
after we leave. We try to limit
the dust in the air but cannot
prevent this entirely. |
