OUR MISSION. As a locally owned, small
business in Southern Maryland, our mission
is two fold. For our customers, we strive
to provide a safe, reliable cleaning service
that provides quality work at reasonable
prices. This gives our customers valued
time and frees them of the drudgery of
housework. For our employees, we provide
a positive, healthy work environment which
rewards good work ethics and habits. We
pay higher than industry standards, and
much higher than minimum wage which provides
an excellent employment opportunity for
people who like to do this type work while
making really good wages!
WE
ARE NOT A FRANCHISE. We started our business
the old fashioned way, doing it ourselves,
one house at a time, all along the way
figuring out better ways to do everything,
from recruiting to cleaning windows. Trial
and error are excellent teachers. We tend
to be great problem solvers and very creative
as we don’t have a franchise above us
dictating policy. By sidestepping the
franchise option, we saved, and continue
to save a lot of money. We took part of
these savings and put it towards higher
wages, which allows us to offer you, the
customer, better people as we do not have
the high overhead the franchises have
to pay (up to 10% of their gross revenues!).
Further, we pass on a large portion of
the savings to you by being able to offer
very competitive prices. We offer everything
a franchise offers – except the high prices!
WE
HIRE THE BEST PEOPLE. We have the highest
quality staff in the industry. The pay
scale and associated benefits are very
competitive, ensuring that we are able
to attract and retain the most professional,
reliable employees. We have adequate staffing
which ensures that we are always able
to get to your account, regardless of
sickness, vacation, etc. Each staff member
has had extensive orientation and training
prior to servicing your home. Our employees
are bonded and insured for your peace
of mind. Our staff wears a uniform to
identify themselves as being with the
company. Your neighbor’s need not worry
who’s going into your home while you’re
at work.
WE
USE THE BEST SUPPLIES. All the supplies
we use are residential products designed
for use in a residential home. We do not
buy bargain priced, bargain sized generic
brands of cleaners. Our vacuums are equipped
with HEPA filters, which filter out the
highest percentage of dust particles.
WE’RE
CONVENIENT. Because the people who clean
your home are our employees, you never
have to worry about any employment liability
issues such as a worker getting hurt in
your home. Hiring individuals requires
training and supervision, something you
won’t have to worry about with Cleaning
Concepts, Inc. Our service agreements
are cleaning by cleaning. Just 2 business
days notice is required to cancel or change
your service. We bring our own supplies
so you can start skipping the cleaning
products aisle at the grocery store and
you don’t have to struggle to figure out
what works best in your home – we’ve got
that covered!
WE’RE
DEPENDABLE. Our management team is responsible
for ensuring that we have adequate staff
available to complete the work we have
on our schedule for any given day. We
deal with car trouble, call outs, sickness,
etc., and arrange for back up cleaners.
This way, we can guarantee that we will
have adequately trained, appropriate staff
available on your cleaning day and will
never miss a cleaning.
WE’RE
TRUSTWORTHY. We take security very seriously.
We conduct a complete criminal background
check on every prospective hire before
offering them a position with our company.
Once hired, our company continually emphasizes
the importance of honesty and trustworthiness
amongst our staff, and those attributes
are routinely rewarded.

Inc. with a key to your home, you can
rest assured that it will be safe in our
hands. Our key coding system is very secure.
The key’s are numbered, occasionally rotated,
and systematically checked out and back
in on cleaning day, ensuring accountability,
and a system that even if the key is lost
or misplaced, the key cannot be traced
to your home.
QUALITY
IS JOB 1. Our training program was developed
by the founders the old fashioned way,
trial and error. We have refined, and
worked a cleaning system that we would
put up against any other in terms of providing
a safe, effective, efficient cleaning
process. All employees complete an extensive
orientation to how things are done at
Cleaning Concepts, Inc. Next a four phase
training system is completed which involves
on-the-job training, written examinations,
demonstration of competency in all areas,
and specialty training for individual
advanced cleaning tasks.
You
spend a lot more time in your home than
we do, and your feedback is essential
to our quality control program. We have
several different ways which you can provide
feedback, which allows us to continually
monitor our crew’s performance as well
as your satisfaction with the service.
We leave a customer comment card at every
cleaning, to invite your comments, and
suggestions. We have a Feedback Page on
our website, which allows you to provide
feedback, comments and suggestions via
the Internet. You can mail the comment
card or other correspondence into the
office. You can also call our office during
normal business hours to discuss your
account.
